In Honor of Veteran’s Day the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame Honors All Active Duty Military Members and Veterans

The Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame celebrates its rich military heritage this Veteran’s Day and every day with free admission for all active duty military and veterans of all branches. Family members also receive a special admission rate.

Founded in 1951 by General Douglas MacArthur, legendary Army coach Earl “Red” Blaik and renowned journalist Grantland Rice, the College Football Hall of Fame is proud to recognize the sacrifices of all military members, past and present, and also honors its current staff members who have served in the military. With a combined 13 years of active duty, the Hall of Fame has two veterans on staff, one who served in the Army as well as one who served in both the Navy and the Army.

“The great game of college football is embedded in the fabric of our country, ” said Dennis Adamovich, CEO of the Hall of Fame. “Many veterans also had impressive collegiate football careers and are enshrined here at the Hall, however, their service to our country far outweighs what took place on the field.”
