To qualify for this prestigious scholarship program, applicants were required to meet stringent criteria, including possessing a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, demonstrating an unmet financial need, and the intent to major or currently major in one of the pre-specified disciplines within the STEM field. There was also an emphasis placed on prioritizing football student-athletes.

“As a Founding Partner of the College Football Hall of Fame, we have been proud to call the State of Georgia home since the founding of our assembly plant in West Point in 2006,” said Steven Center, COO & EVP, Kia America. “We are equally proud of our Accelerate the Good program and therefore excited to support the clear commitment these recipients have shown to their communities and their academic achievements.”

These scholarship recipients, representing the next generation of scholars, demonstrated not only academic prowess, but a strong commitment to their community as well. The College Football Hall of Fame and Kia are proud to support these individuals on their educational journey, helping supplement the financial challenges associated with attending college, and extend gratitude to all who applied to the program for consideration.
