BIO

One of the most exciting players in college football history, Raghib “Rocket” Ismail dominated opponents. Ismail led Notre Dame to an undefeated national championship season in 1988, finishing his Irish career with a record of 33-4. He is one of two Irish players to amass more than 1,000 yards rushing and receiving in a career. His 22 yards per reception average is still a school record. He remains the only player in history to return two kickoffs for touchdowns in two games. Rocket was projected 1st overall in the 1991 NFL Draft, but opted to sign with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League, he led them to the 1991 Grey Cup Championship. He would go on to play for the Los Angeles Raiders, Carolina Panthers, and Dallas Cowboys during his NFL career.
