Bio

Brent Jones started his career at Santa Clara as a wide receiver. In 1983, he switched to tight end, where he combined his talents as a pass receiver with hard blocking performances. He helped the Broncos to two Western Football Conference championships and was all-conference three times. His career totals show 137 pass receptions, 2,267 reception yards, 24 touchdowns. In 1985, he was All America and was Greater San Jose Male Athlete of the Year. He played in the East- West Shrine Game. He played 12 years with the San Francisco 49ers and made all-pro four times.
