Bio

Lorenzo White was one of the greatest running backs in Michigan State history. He rewrote the school and conference record books, remaining as MSU’s all-time leading rusher. During his career he set many school records including 1,082 rushing attempts, 4,887 rushing yards, 43 rushing touchdowns, and 23 100-yard rushing games. His rushing yards placed him second in Big Ten history, and he still ranks in the top 10. He also owns two of the top three single-game rushing performances in school history which includes a career-high 292 yards versus Indiana in 1987. White was the 22nd pick in the first round of the 1988 NFL Draft by the Houston Oilers. He played seven seasons with the Oilers before a final season with the Cleveland Browns in 1995.
