Bio

In 1986, Colgate halfback Kenny Gamble led the nation in all purpose yardage, 2,425 and rushing yardage, 1,816. In 1987, he led in all- purpose yards, 2,097, was second in rushing yards, 1,411, and won the Walter Payton Award as the nation's best player in Division I-AA (FCS). Kenny was a first-team All-America in each of those years. He led his team in rushing four years, set 29 school records, and won the Andy Kerr Trophy as Colgate's Most Valuable Player. He played professionally with the Kansas City Chiefs.
