Bio

“Two-Minute Tommy” Kramer led the Rice Owls in passing for four straight years and he left college with school records in career passing yards (6,197), season total offense (3,272), career total offense (6,336), season touchdown passes (21), career touchdown passes (37), season total touchdowns (25), and career total touchdowns (48). As a senior, he led the nation in passing and total offense, was a consensus All-America, placed fifth in the Heisman vote and won Conference MVP honors.. Chosen by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round of the 1977 NFL Draft, Kramer compiled nearly 25,000 career passing and 159 touchdowns yards during 14 NFL seasons. A Kiwanis Club member, Kramer is still active with the Rice football program, returning to campus annually for the Huddle Up football reunion.
