Bio

Hal Bedsole set school single-season receiving records during his consensus All-America 1962 campaign, corralling 33 passes for 827 yards and 11 touchdowns. The two-time all-conference honoree, led the Trojans in scoring in 1961 and 1962 and set a school record by averaging 20.9 yards per reception for his career. He caught 82 passes for 1,717 yards with 20 touchdowns during his years on campus. Drafted by the Minnesota Vikings, Bedsole played three seasons in the NFL.  Inducted into the USC Athletic Hall of Fame in 2001, Bedsole retired after a long career as a radio broadcast sales manager.
