Marketing & Communications Intern

- Internship is open to current sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students.
- Applicant must be a currently enrolled student in a bachelors, masters, or professional level program at an accredited college or university; working toward a degree in marketing, communications, sports management, or another related field is highly recommended, but not required.
- General interest and knowledge of college football.
- Reliable transportation.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager on project management and creative execution of marketing campaigns.
- Observe and assist with day-to-day needs of the VP of Marketing, Marketing Manager, Social and Video Content staff and complete general office tasks.
- Communicate with agency partners to execute marketing campaigns, manage media buys, and facilitate public relations.
- Develop programming and marketing campaigns for public events; lead execution day of events.
- Assist with management of creative assets and asset implementation.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively express ideas and interact with a wide array of individuals in an exemplary manner consistent with CFHOF values.
- Strong logical and creative problem-solving skills, good written communication skills, and excellent analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to organize and complete diverse sets of tasks punctually.
- Ability to work independently and support the team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software – above average knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Marketing experience including but not limited to marketing, communications, social media, and graphic design.
- Prior internship or job experience.
- Flexible schedule for students.

- This is a non-exempt, temporary position paid at the rate of $14.50/hr. Interns can also receive course credit depending on requirements. It is the responsibility of the intern to complete and submit weekly timesheets and, if applicable, credit requirements to their manager to receive proper earnings and credit.
