Atlanta Hall Management, Inc. (AHM) provides management services to the College Football Hall of Fame (CFHOF) which opened in August 2014.  The organization’s mission is to inspire and entertain by celebrating the passion and traditions of college football and its greatest players and coaches and provides visitors with a highly immersive, interactive and engaging experience.
            
Job Summary:
AHM is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead the implementation of strategic human resource plans and policies in collaboration with the management team to support the organization’s overall mission, core values, and business objectives.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and on-boarding, employee termination, payroll updates and benefit processes, company policy and procedure adherence while building strong relationships with our company’s managers to help them with their human resource needs.  This is a hands-on position and requires a candidate with a “get it done” entrepreneurial spirit. 
 
Role, Responsibilities, and Key Performance Areas:
  • Partner with executive leadership to guide human resource practices, which includes: adherence of legal standards in the areas of compliance, hiring, training, managing performance, employee relations and terminations
  • Utilizing the ADP System to streamline and ensure full execution of efficient practices including job descriptions, hiring, onboarding, I-9 compliance, benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, Team member handbook, compensation analysis as required
  • Develop and execute strategies for talent acquisition, and management ensuring a diverse and highly competent talent pool.  
  • Create and implement ongoing training programs including employe development, management, and compliance and leadership development programs utilizing internal and external resources  
  • Lead performance management within the organization including the mid-year and annual performance review process, disciplinary needs and exit interviews
  • Collaborate with the executive and management teams to foster positive employee engagement and continuously develop an inclusive culture built on our core values
  • Performs other related duties as prescribed by management 
  
Knowledge, Skills, Attributes and Abilities:
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as an HR Generalist or Manager, preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s degree, required and PHR Certification, preferred
  • Highly knowledgeable in HR Laws and Compliance with the ability to oversee and enforce all HR rules and regulations
  • Experience with ADP or other payroll systems
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with both internal and external customers; including c-level executives
  • Exhibits an entrepreneurial spirit through self-motivation and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done 
  • Demonstrates ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and attention to detail in all aspects of this role 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills 
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, with a sense of urgency, and be adaptable to the changing needs of the organization
  • Displays excellent judgment and courage when communicating to senior leaders
  • Fosters positive workplace environment for all AHM employees
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is required. 
  
Physical Demands:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
  • Requires standing for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Limited travel required.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
