The College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience will open its latest exhibit honoring the 2017 Hall of Famers in the Specialty Exhibit delivered by UPS. The temporary display will be open through the spring of 2018.
The new exhibit features seven game-worn jerseys, three helmets and other unique artifacts including a letterman jacket worn by former Texas Longhorn offensive tackle Bob McKay and the Outland Trophy won by Mike Ruth (Boston College) in 1985. Additional members of the class include Bob Crable (Notre Dame), Marshall Faulk (San Diego State), Kirk Gibson (Michigan State), Matt Leinart (Southern California), Peyton Manning (Tennessee), Dat Nguyen (Texas A&M), Adrian Peterson (Georgia Southern), Brian Urlacher (New Mexico), and coaches Danny Ford (Clemson, Arkansas), Larry Kehres (Mount Union), and Steve Spurrier (Duke, Florida, South Carolina). Steve Spurrier becomes the fourth person to be inducted into the Hall of Fame as both a player and coach and Peyton and Archie Manning become the first father and son to be inducted as players.
“The tribute to the 2017 Hall of Fame Class honors the players and coaches for their incredible contribution to the game of college football,” said Dennis Adamovich, College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience CEO. “Our guests are sure to love this new exhibit.”
