The College Football Hall of Fame (CFHOF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1951 to celebrate the universal values of hard work, integrity and perseverance; preserve the traditions and history of college football and immortalize the greatest players and coaches as role models for future generations.  Today, the National College Football Hall of Fame stands as a 95,000 square-foot shrine and the most complete repository of the history of college football.  The Hall is a technology-driven entertainment and educational experience that combines priceless artifacts with cutting-edge technology to tell the story of the game, the traditions, the fan bases and the greatest of the great on the gridiron.  
 

Job Summary:
 
The Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame is currently seeking an Event Coordinator to work with the event team in the following areas:

·       Assist with all facets of event management including coverage and servicing with direction stemming from the Event Manager and marketing team
·       Coordinate event coverage in conjunction with event manager
·       Manage event the calendar for events team
·       Create event Run of Shows and other materials when needed
·       Serves as point of contact for Fan Ambassadors during assigned events 
·       Willing to learn new event processes such a writing BEO’s
·       Serve as onsite contact for clients, vendors and other third party providers
·       Support the overall organization (events team and other departments) with some administrative duties 
·       Aid with other marketing projects, including travel arrangements for Hall of Fame members for various events throughout the year.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an interest in event management and marketing.  Additionally, candidate should be available to work a non-traditional schedule and prepared for the hard work required to succeed in a start-up environment.

Role, Responsibilities, and Key Performance Areas:
·       High attention to detail and ability to organize and complete diverse sets of tasks punctually.
·       Event Management, Project Management and/or Marketing preferred. 

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills.
·       Collaborative nature with a “no job is too small” attitude to assist with overall team duties and additional programs as needed.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
·       Previous internship experience in the event management field.

·       Ability and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Education & Experience:
 
·       High school diploma or GED Equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
·       Minimum 3 years of related experience
·       Moderate fluency with Microsoft Office Suite
·       Preferred knowledge of events systems 
·       Preferred Knowledge of creating events diagrams using Social Tables 
 
Physical Requirements:
 
·       Frequently required to sit, stand, and walk
·       Must be able to lift to 50 pounds occasionally
·       The noise level in the work environment usually is moderate; job duties performed in an office environment
 
Travel Requirements:
·       10-15% travel required

Driving Requirements:
 
·       Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required as you will be driving 
and using a company vehicle at events.
