Clemson University Head Coach Dabo Swinney to Accept MacArthur Bowl Trophy on

Behalf of the Tigers in Atlanta

Clemson wins its third MacArthur Bowl, second under Coach Swinney

Since 1959, the National Football Foundation/College Football Hall of Fame has recognized the nation’s top college football team with the MacArthur Bowl Trophy. This award is the longest standing award for the national championship and is named in honor of General Douglas MacArthur. Crafted by Tiffany & Co. from 400 ounces of pure silver, the MacArthur Bowl is a replica of a college football stadium and has each champion and the year they won etched on the outside of the bowl.

Head Coach Dabo Swinney will return to the College Football Hall of Fame in April to receive the trophy on behalf of Clemson for the second time in his coaching career.
