The College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience will unveil a new exhibit in the Specialty Exhibit delivered by UPS on February 1st. Themed Breaking Barriers, the display will chronicle game-changing individuals, stories and moments in time including the first southern African-American players to go north, the 1939 UCLA Bruins, the 1951 San Francisco Dons, William Henry Lewis, Jack Trice, the Johnny Bright Incident, Paul Robeson, Breaking the QB Barrier, the Elmira Express – Ernie Davis, Fritz Pollard, Coach Rob and the Grambling Tigers and Coaching Pioneers. The exhibit will also feature treasured artifacts including memorabilia from Eddie Robinson, the Celebration Bowl Trophy and a copy of William Henry Lewis’ football instruction book published in 1896.
